Us
Founded in 2018 by MJ Matthee, Lex Semper (Pty) Ltd was established with a clear purpose: to provide individuals and businesses with practical, professional, and solution-driven legal, compliance, governance, and business advisory services.
From experience, individuals and businesses often find themselves in legal disputes with large corporations that have dedicated legal teams. We level the playing field!
Mr. Matthee is admitted as an advocate of the high court and brings more than 40 years of experience gained across public service, corporate environments, and private practice. He is registered with the Legal Practice Council, with qualifications including a BIuris and LLB (UP), an Advanced Certificate in Labour Law (UP), an Advanced Certificate in Pension Funds Law (UNISA, Cum Laude), as well as certifications in Insurance, Drafting of Legislation, and various business and management disciplines. He is also an Associate of AFSA, a FAIS-accredited Financial Services Representative and Key Individual, and holds both RE1 and RE5 regulatory qualifications.
